The Second Vardhanti of Late Sri. Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy was organized while commemorating the victims of 9/11 who lost their lives during the terrorist attack.
The event started at 7.30PM with songs of Y.S.Rajasekhar Reddy reverberating the Funasia auditorium.
There were over 300 people from all walks of life who attended the event. Raman Reddy Kristapati garu and Dr. Sridhar Korsapati garu, the core committee members of YSR Fans Club, Dallas welcomed the crowd. Mahesh Adibhatla did MC through out the event.
Rao Kalvala garu gave a briefing on 09/11 attacks and how the world changed ever after. A brief video was played marking the attacks.
Shabnam Motgil from Funasia, Sri. Sabbam Hari M.P from A.P and Sri. Jupudi Prabhakar Rao MLC from A.P lighted the candles in observence of 09/11. Later a minute of silence was observed for the departed souls lost in the terrorist attacks.Sri. Sabbam Hari and Sri. Jupudi Prabhakar Rao then garlanded YSR's photo and lighted candles, followed by many community leaders from Dallas/Fort-Worth lighting the candles in respect of the departed leader.
Many speakers from the DFW community expressed their views. Ajay Reddy garu in his speech complimented the welfare programmes initiated by YSR. Narender Babu garu in his speech said he is disheartened by the various allegations being faced by YSR even after his death and hoped the government will take corrective measures to ensure YSR's image is unspoiled.Dr. Srinivas Reddy Alla garu recollected how YSR was able to satisfy all sections of people in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Prasad Mallu garu mentioned how Andhra Pradesh rose from the bottom to become one of the leading states in the country and how it is on the verge of disintegration with the actions both State and the Central governments have been taking against the beloved departed leader YSR and his family.
TANTEX president NMS Reddy garu and his executive committee members facilitated Sri. Sabbam Hari and Sri. Jupudi Prabhakar Rao with bouquets, shawls and plaques on behalf of Telugu Association of North Texas.
Sabbam Hari garu and Jupudi Prabhakar Rao garu later spoke in length and breadth on how Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy is being targeted by the Congress high command under the disguise of CBI and how the state government is maligning the image of the greatest congress leader of Andhra Pradesh. They assured that the rumors are not true of Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy trying to get back into the Congress fold.
Sri. Sabbam Hari said how the opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu and others like Chiranjeevi dreamt of becoming the Chief Minister in 2009 and ulitmately had to bite the dust even in the Cuddapah by-elections thereafter.
He also mentioned there may be some delay but there won't be any stopping from Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. There were constant cheering from the audience whenever there was mention of Y.S.Jagan's name.
The event ended with dinner and Raman Reddy Kristapati delivering the thank you note to all the sponsorers who made this event possible.
