What Is He Talking About?

Arvind Kejriwal is easily one of the finest opportunists, this nation has ever seen. Following a complaint from Director of Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Prashant Pathrabe, five students of FTII were taken into custody.

Apparently, the director had invited six students for talks but 50 of them turned up and restrained him for eight hours forcing the latter to seek help from the police.

The opposition parties were quick to seize the initiative. ‘Silence. Suspend. Arrest : Modi mantra for Acche Din. Our students are not criminals Modiji,” tweeted Rahul Gandhi.

And then the demagogue, Kejriwal jumped in as well. He expressed shock over the midnight crackdown on students and accused the government of destroying an internationally reputed institute systematically.

“Delhi government can provide you temporary space in Delhi. Run your classes here till Central government agrees,” said Kejriwal.

He added that in case the Central government doesn’t give in to the demands of the protesting students, the temporary accommodation could be converted into a full-fledged institute.

Instead of asking for a peaceful resolution to the conflict in FTII, these two politicians are further vitiating the atmosphere.

As for Kejriwal, he should realize that the problem is not of conducting classes. The students themselves are boycotting the classes. The need is not for temporary space but the students want the authority to be able to nominate who the head of their college should be.

Kejriwal himself has a problem with the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi. So, will Kejriwal operate from another state until the Lieutenant Governor concedes to his demands?
