As part of his 'election manifesto', Chandrababu Naidu had promised that unemployed youth in the State would be given a compensation of Rs 2000.
To date, nothing has been spoken or done about it. While the youth have been silent so far since it is early days yet, judging by the way, Naidu has delivered on his other promises, it is doubtful as to the fulfillment of this promise also.
Taking the youth for granted would be a huge mistake for they have been at the forefront of the Samaikhyandhra movement and would not hesitate to come together again, this time for their own rights.
‘Bring back Naidu if you want jobs’ was the slogan of the TDP. Wonder how long it will be before the youth would finally be forced to come out with the slogan, “Naidu hatao, and AP bachao”.
