Pollution is a serious issue in the national capital and Arvind Kejriwal is trying to do something about it through the 'odd-even' policy.
Although there will be resistance to the change initially, the inconvenience would have to be put up with in the larger interests of society.
The entire nation is awaiting the outcome of this experiment as a positive outcome will definitely encourage similar action in the rest of the country. Therefore, any criticism of this experiment is unwarranted.
Kejriwal may not have come up with the best solution but at least he is trying to do something about it. And that counts for a lot especially in apathetic India.
As for the allegation that Kejriwal himself is a demagogue, it is irrelevant in the scheme of things. The sayings of ‘Bhagavad Gita’ are not untrue because a thief utters them.
Good actions should be encouraged irrespective of the proponent.
