YS Jagan has appointed Pedda Reddy as the YSRCP in-charge for Tadipatri constituency. Since then, Pedda Reddy has been moving about actively in and around Tadipatri trying to consolidate his position.
But his arch-rivals, the JC brothers have decided to take the bull by its horns! JC Prabhakar Reddy, the more flamboyant of the JC brothers has now purchased a house in Timmaauram village. So, what? Timmapuram is the native village of Pedda Reddy.
In other words, this is a direct challenge to Pedda Reddy! There was a long faction war between the JC brothers and the Kethireddy family which culminated in the murder of Kethireddy Surya Pratap Reddy, elder brother of Pedda Reddy. Since then, the area has been relatively incident-free.
The Kethireddy family had also been staying away from Tadipatri and focusing on Dharmavaram. But with their re-entry to Tadipatri and Prabhakar Reddy buying a house in their own village, given the faction history between the two families, one can only hope that it does not escalate matters once again.
