News has trickled in that AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu has given a earful to the ministers from Uttarandhra during a review meeting yesterday.
It is said that he lashed out at them for being unable to convince the local farmers in Bhogapuram, in Vijayanagaram district, as his government had proposed to develop an airport in the region. Since the farmers of Bhogapuram are already strongly opposing the proposal, the ministers are now in a fix.
Apparently, Babu threatened them to get into action himself and asked him why they could not get the farmers to give up 15,000 acres of land when his government could procure 35,000 acres of land for development of new capital city.
Apparently, when some ministers tried to tell him about the ground situation, Babu was not keen on hearing their version.
However, it is being said that Babu is pretty clear about acquiring the land and only time will tell if usurping thousands of acres of land is appropriate or not.
So, poor ministers are facing the music both from farmers and Chandra Babu who is hell bent on getting his way.
