Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu, who is otherwise extremely busy with his official programmes, could find time to watch a film on Monday at Vijayawada.
Naidu opened a modernised city bus terminal and a mini multiplex screen in Vijaywada bus station for the sake of passengers who have to wait for buses.
The officials arranged screening of a film for him on the screen and Naidu had keenly watched the movie. However, what film Naidu had watched and how much he had paid for that remained a secret till Tuesday.
It is learnt Naidu had watched the super hit Telugu film “Srimanthudu” at the mini multiplex and he paid Rs 1200 for the ticket.
Along with Naidu, senior officials of the APSRTC also watched the movie. However, Naidu did not sit through the entire three hours to watch the movie, but left mid-way, sources said.
