Naidu Losing Temper Over Nandyal Bypoll?

Naidu Losing Temper Over Nandyal Bypoll?

It looks like Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is losing confidence of winning the by-elections in Nandyal assembly constituency in Kurnool district, notwithstanding crores of rupees he is spending in the name of development.

This was evident from the way Naidu was found losing his cool while addressing public meetings in Nandyal in the last two days.

During a public meeting on Sunday, Naidu threatened a YSR Congress party activist that he would get him tied to a car and dragged.

When a YSR Congress party worker complained that there was no proper power supply in Nandyal town, Naidu got wild.

He shouted at the person asking whether he was blind or drunk.

“Can’t you see whether there is power supply? Don’t make baseless statements. If you repeat it, I will get you tied to a car and dragged. I am the chief minister. How dare you question me sitting in the middle of my party cadres?” he shouted.

When another man from the audience complained that he had not got his farm loan waived, Naidu told him, “Are you drunk? I will send the collector to your place and verify. If your claim is found wrong, I will book you."

Well, if that is the way you are reacting to public issues, it is better you start counting the days for your rule, Mr Naidu.
