After likening himself to Bhagat Singh following the pepper spray incident, Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has now come up with new posters where he is described as a man ready for self-sacrifice for the greater cause of society.
Also, news has emerged that some senior Congress leaders from Vijayawada are requesting him to return to active politics.
Earlier, following the pepper spray incident, Lagadapati had apologized profusely. Also, in keeping with his earlier statements that he would take political sanyas if the Telangana state were to become a reality, Lagadapati declared that he will be quitting active politics.
However, now, demands are being raised for his return to politics.
On the other hand, TDP and YSRCP leaders have brushed aside such rumours saying that it was all part of Lagadapati’s new drama.
