Kiran Kumar Reddy Winds Up His Party

Ex chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has shut down his party office in Madhapur. Incidentally, Kiran Kumar Reddy hasn’t been going to the Samaikyandhra party office for a very long time and has been confined to his home.

The other party members too haven’t been active after the elections.

A story has appeared in The Hindu saying that Kiran Kumar Reddy is spending most of his time at his residence and that he is no longer involved with the party he launched.

Two days back, the party flags were removed and it is now being rumoured that the building will be leased to a private firm.

Prior to the elections, Kiran Kumar had started the party saying its objective is to unite Andhra and Telangana. However, barring in one place, the party candidates could not secure deposits in any of the constituencies. Given this background, the closing down of the party office does not come as a surprise.
