KCR's Sudden Love For Konda Laxman!

KCR's Sudden Love For Konda Laxman!

When veteran freedom fighter and Telangana protagonist Konda Laxman Bapuji was alive, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao did not care him.

He had even staked claim on the “Jaladrushyam” property owned by Bapuji on the banks of Hussainsagar.

And when Bapuji died two years ago, KCR did not even bother to go to his house personally to pay homage.

While KCR remained indoors in his apartment in Delhi on the pretext of cold and fever, none of his family members including K T Rama Rao, Kavitha and Harish Rao visited Bapuji’s residence and paid tributes to his mortal remains.

The reason was simple: KCR wanted to monopolise the movement and never participated in the meetings organized by Bapuji.

Now that Bapuji is dead and KCR is in power, the Chief Minister has developed sudden love for Bapuji apparently to please the Telangana people.

On Monday he declared that the proposed Horticulture University to be set up in Telangana State would be named after freedom fighter late Konda Laxman Bapuji.

It is good that KCR at least now remembers the contribution of Bapuji for Telangana.
