KCR's '5-Day Week' Policy Mounts Pending Files!

KCR's '5-Day Week' Policy Mounts Pending Files!

Like corporate or IT professionals, Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has been adopting a 'five-day week' policy.

He is working as CM from Monday to Friday and leaving to his farm house in Erravelli on city outskirsts to relax on Saturday and Sunday.

But these days, the 5-day week too has been turning as 3-day or 4-day week, with CM confining more to his farm house.

Though as CM he can work from anywhere in the state, the problem that the administration is facing is mounting of pending files.

The files have been accumulating in CM's office in Secretariat with each passing day waiting for CM's approval and the pendency has nearly touched 10,000 files now.

There are several crucial files like health cards for employees, chancellors and vice chancellors appointment for universities etc that are gathering dust in his chambers.

Despite this, officials are freightened to bring pending files to the notice of KCR fearing backlash from him knowing very well that no one know how KCR reacts if anyone takes initiative on their own.
