Telangana Rashtra Samithi president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who has been facing the criticism of avoiding meeting people and confining himself to the four walls of his camp office or his Erravelli farm house, has decided to counter this criticism.
According to party sources, KCR is contemplating making a whirlwind tour of Telangana to highlight the achievements of his government and also expose the opposition parties which have been making allegations against the TRS rule in the state.
His tour is also aimed at strengthening the TRS cadre, which has been facing the anti-establishment climate at the grassroot level.
Sources said KCR will kick-start his campaign from August 10 at a public meeting at Pochampally where he will be addressing the farmers and accept their petitions.
The government is drawing an action plan to accept petitions from the public and resolve them at the earliest.
The Chief Minister intends to take social welfare schemes to the doorsteps of beneficiaries.
He will be addressing public meetings and participate in road shows as a part of his tour in all the districts.
