After coming to power, KCR in a bid to beef up his presence in these areas has started luring the TDP legislators to his fold successfully.

Tummala is now ‘Roads & Buildings’ Minister in the TRS, a significant portfolio because there is Rs 25000 crore worth projects in the pipeline. Apart from building community bhavans like Banjara Bhavan, Christian Bhavan and Brahmin Bhavan, projects such as construction of two skyway corridors linking four corners of Hyderabad are in the planning stage.
A new outer ring road (ORR) with 100 km radius, and expressway flyovers linking all state and national highways, akin to PVN Expressway, are also in the pipeline.
Naturally, one wondered about the kind of freedom Tummala would be given with these investments considering that KCR is a person who believes in all powers vested in him only.
Here comes the answer! A vaastu expert by the name of ‘Suddala Sudhakar Teja’ is all set to be appointed in the garb of advisor to the Telangana government in architecture. His designation has been tweaked as rules do not permit for the appointment of ‘vaastu experts’.
All structures of the ‘R&B’ Ministry will ultimately have to be cleared ultimately by Sudhakar Teja. This means that Tummala’s operational freedom will be seriously curtailed making him yet another dummy Minister of KCR.
