KCR Made Impossible Promises

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday alleged that the TRS wrested power by making “impossible” promises to the people of the new State.

Bhatti alleged that the TRS Government was making efforts to sell Hyderabad city and preparing ground to hand over the State Secretariat to private firms.

He exhorted his party workers to go to people with the agenda of protecting Hyderabad city and the government institutions.

TPCC president N Uttamkumar Reddy asked the party activists to keep differences aside and strive to strengthen the Congress party.

Asking the cadre to expose the ruling party’s failures to people, Uttam said the 10-months old KCR government did nothing for the people but encouraging political defections.

He lashed out at the KCR government for behaving in a negligent manner though the plight of agriculture sector reached peak stage.

Uttam Kumar said the facts will not come out if the government conducts an inquiry into the Viqaruddin’s encounter instead of a judicial inquiry.

MIM, which describes itself as a Muslims Champion, is also not raising the issue, Uttam alleged.

The meeting was held to discuss on GHMC elections, party membership enrollment. Telangana State Legislative Council opposition leader Mohd Ali Shabbir was also present.
