One of the biggest mistakes made by Arvind Kejriwal was to go on a dharna in his capacity as Chief Minister.
The purpose of being in office is to rectify the grievances of the public in a constitutional manner. But if the Chief Minister himself goes on a dharna or calls for a bandh to protest some decision which he is not comfortable with then he is guilty of breaking the sacred oath which he takes at the time of swearing-in which includes upholding the law and order in his dominion as per the constitution.
When Kejriwal went on a dharna to protest the Delhi Police not coming under his jurisdiction, he lost the confidence of the public. Now, KCR is doing something similar by calling for a Telangana bandh over the Polavaram issue.
Though, technically, he is not yet a Chief Minister, it is disheartening to see him come up with populist measures repeatedly against the spirit of the constitution.
Will he meet the same fate as that of Kejriwal? Though he has the majority, this act of his has already earned him a lot of criticism from the people.
What will be the fate of the Telangana people under such an ignoramus?
