TDP senior leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu said TRS MP K Kavitha has been spitting venom on Andhraites even after bifurcation of United Andhra Pradesh 17 months ago.
Gali questioned whether Kavitha would survive for a single day without criticising Andhraites.
He condemned Kavitha's remarks that NDA government was showing favouritism towards AP, while neglecting Telangana.
Gali said Kavitha was making such baseless arguments out of frustration after Modi denied her union cabinet post.
"She along with father KCR tried for union minister post in NDA government. But it seems Modi rejected it. Out of frustration, she is criticising AP and Andhraites," Gali said.
Gali said AP plunged into deficit budget and without a capital city after bifurcation of state.
"Kavitha is talking about NDA government giving more priority for AP in allotment of funds. The Centre had not even filled the deficit budget so far despite promising to do so in AP Reorganisation Act. Where is the question of AP getting more funds then. When her father KCR is proudly claiming Telangana to be revenue-surplus state, what is the point in Kavitha crying over a deficit budget AP?" Gali asked.
