There is no dearth of politicians in the Telugu states who often lose their tongue while criticising their political rivals.
If YSR Congress party has leaders like R K Roja, who uses foul and objectionable language against the Telugu Desam Party leaders, the ruling party, too, does not lack in such leaders like Bonda Umamaheshwar Rao, Buddha Venkanna and even Anantapur MP J C Diwakar Reddy.
On Thursday, JC once again used abusive language against YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Addressing a meeting at Pamidi in Anantapur district, the TDP MP said Jagan was inefficient politician who cannot achieve anything.
“In fact, I have a strong affinity towards my Reddy caste. I too thought of going into the YSR Congress party because of caste factor. But I didn’t go, because Jagan is a ‘vedhava’ (stupid). That fellow cannot do anything,” he said.
However, within a second, JC corrected himself.
“I am sorry. May be this word Vedhava also doesn’t suit him and so, I am withdrawing it. But, since Jagan was useless, I had to join the TDP,” he said.
He also made a sarcastic comment on TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu as well.
“The chief minister is very good at dreaming. His dreams are very big. He is dreaming that he would complete Polavaram project by 2018. How is it possible? Only recently, a machinery worth Rs 80 crore was burnt to ashes.
It requires another three or four months to procure the same. So, the project cannot be completed by 2018. If Naidu’s dreams are to be fulfilled, we need to make him chief minister again in 2019, so that he would complete the project,” JC said.
