Jagan's Chances To Stall T-Bill, Alive!

Jagan's Chances To Stall T-Bill, Alive!

YSRCP has proved its commitment as the only party that has stuck to the demand of a United Andhra Pradesh.

And people have no doubts regards Jagan’s attempts in this aspect.

Jagan is on his way to stall bifurcation, constitutionally, by demanding for the amendment of Article 3.

Already he has managed to garner support from some of the national parties.

As the T-bill is not getting slated during the winter sessions, Jagan’s chances of stalling the process are still alive.

A special cabinet meeting on T-bill is to be held on December 3. And the bill is expected to come to AP assembly in the 2nd or 3rd weeks.

After getting the nod from assembly, the Centre may go for a special parliament session in January, according to sources.

Given this scenario, if YSRCP moves a bill in the winter session for the amendment of Article 3, with the support of other parties, it could be a major development in this regard.

YS Jagan has already attained some consensus from other political parties for the amendment of Article 3. He is demanding for 2/3 majority both in assembly and Parliament to be included in the bill.

If YSRCP can move the bill, then Parliament needs to take it first. And they can not take up the T-bill till the bill for amendment of Article 3 is resolved.

On the other hand, Jagan may get the support of BJP too in this regard. BJP, who is always waiting for a chance to irk the ruling party, may support the amendment of Article 3.

Jagan has a chance to emerge as ‘samaikya hero’ if everything goes accordingly.
