Amit Shah Disappoints Andhra BJP Cadre!

The Bharatiya Janata Party cadre in Andhra Pradesh was terribly disappointed with their top leader Amit Shah for going soft on the ruling Telugu Desam Party and failing to give proper direction to them for the coming years.

The BJP leaders in Andhra spent huge amounts in organising the public meeting at Rajahmundry on Sunday, hoping that there would be fireworks from the BJP national president against the Naidu administration, which failed to live up to the expectations of the people and implement the pre-poll promises.

They have been trying to impress upon Shah that the BJP would have no future if it did not severe ties with the TDP and grow as an independent force in the coming days.

However, Shah’s speech was dull and lacklustre and he spent most of the time in giving an explanation to the people that the Centre was extending huge financial assistance to the State.

He assured that the BJP would continue to provide all help to the Chandrababu Naidu government in the coming years to develop the State.

The BJP president simply ignored the slogans being raised by party workers that it should cut off its alliance with the TDP.

Apparently, Shah got the briefing well in advance from Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, who is hell bent on protecting Chandrababu Naidu.

So, at least for now, the BJP has no plans to grow as an independent force. May be, it will take a call after the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
