KV's Nakshatram Going to be Shelved Completely?

KV's Nakshatram Going to be Shelved Completely?

It has been more than a year since the launch of Krishnavamsi's "Nakshatram" but the movie still is "under progress".

GreatAndhra.com earlier reported that the producers ran into financial problems and have stalled the movie.

Once this news appeared, the producers issued a press note saying that they are going to picturise the balance two songs and an action episode to break the pumpkin of the movie's shoot.

But latest update is that the shoot has not at all happened, much of the portion is yet to be filmed.

Krishnavamsi began shooting the action drama with an estimated budget of Rs 12 Cr with Sundeep Kishan and Regina as the lead pair.

As Sundeep Kishan then was going through bad phase, Krishnavamsi roped in Sai Dharam Tej for a lengthy guest role to add star value to the movie.

Now Sai Dharam Tej's market is also down as he has given two back-to-back flops. Sundeep Kishan won appreciation for "Nagaram". But their combination doesn't make the movie a red-hot project in the trade.

On the other hand, the movie's budget has doubled. Hence the producers have given up on the project. They are of the opinion that they can't recover such massive investment on Sundeep Kishan's starrer.

So, all in all, the film is unlikely to see the light of the day anytime soon.
