According to the buzz from film circles, both Mahesh and Murugadoss are going to get 20 crore each for their untitled film, which is set to rolling from mid July.
Murugadoss is a very big brand in Tamil as well as Telugu and Hindi. So the director is charging a whopping 20 crore, which makes him the highest paid director ever in South Cinema.
So the producers are going to spend a large chunk of their investment on remunerations itself. Even heroine Parineeti Chopra is rumored to be charging a bomb for this film.
Mahesh has a market of over 80 crore in Telugu and Murugadoss too is a very big brand in Kollywood as well as Bollywood. Looks like the makers are expecting nothing short of 150 crore business on this prestigious project.
Mahesh is all set to make a grand entry into Tamil and Hindi cinema with this film that is touted to be a commercial entertainer with a strong social message.
If this film lives up to the expectations then sky is the limit for Mahesh as all of his movies will have simultaneous release in Tamil and Hindi too.
