ATA Health Fair in Nashville

American Telugu Association (ATA) organized FREE Health Fair in Collaboration with VT Seva & Hindu Cultural Center Tennessee,  on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 in Nashville, TN. The Health Fair was held in the Sri Ganesha Temple auditorium , Nashville. 

More than 25 specialty doctors, 10 medical students, 20 ATA volunteers, 10 VT Seva volunteers, and 10 Tennessee Kidney Foundation(TKF) staff provided services in this health fair. They contributed greatly to the success of this event. 

More than 100 people attended & benefited from this Health Fair.

Health Fair activities were focused on health screenings, BMI, Blood Pressure, Glucose Check, Urine Test, Cholesterol Check followed by Primary Care Physician Consultation, Diabetes, Cardiology, and Urology Consultation. 

Health Fair also included current health awareness through Health Seminars on topics Staying on top of your health, Stroke Prevention, Nutrition, Prostate Problems and Warning Signs and Yoga For Kids.

ATA Nashville Team comprising Ramakrishna Reddy Ala (ATA Community Services Chair), Narender Reddy Nookala (ATA Regional co-ordinator  Nashville), Susheel Chanda (ATA Foundation projects co-chair), Kishore Reddy (ATA Membership benefits co-chair), Prakash Reddy, Puneeth Dixit, Radhika Reddy, Lavanya Nookala, Ravali Kallu, Bindu Madhavi and many others helped in this event.

ATA thanks all doctors who participated in the fair, Dr, Nishitha Reddy and Dr. Saritha Reddy from VT Seva for providing their time, coordinating with all doctors and expertise.

ATA also thanks Dr. Pankaj & Dr. Jyotheen Sri Ganesh Temple Board members for their help and providing Temple auditorium for Health Fair, and our media partners.
