New Jersey Telugu Community felicitated Law, Courts & Technical Education Minister Sri Mopidevi Venkata Ramana on Sunday July 12th. at Linwood Middle School, North Brunswick, New Jersey. Radhakrishna introduced Sri Mopidevi Venkata Ramana and welcomed the audience.
During the welcome speech, he provided a glimpse of Sri Sri Mopidevi Venkata Ramana’s career in politics including his achievements.
Mr. Jithendra Atluri, who organized the event, spoke on this occasion and praised Mr. Venkata Ramana as a great Leader & a great visionary and recollected his association with Minister Venkata Ramana.
In his inspirational speech Minister Venkata Ramana briefed about the ongoing projects in Andhra Pradesh under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister, Dr. YS Rajasekhar reddy and his relentless fight for clearance of pending irrigation projects. Mr. Venkata Ramana spoke for more than an hour on various topics that affect the Telugus in India and abroad. He also answered a few questions from audience on topics ranging from recent attacks on Telugu students in Australia to newly created portfolio for NRI’s.
Prominent Telugu Community members Venkata Ramana Ganne, Harnath Doddapaneni, Mahesh Saladi, Arjun Dyapa, Venkatesh Mutyala, Mahendar reddy musuku, Srinivas Arikatla, rajeswar reddy, ravi veeravalli, prasad kanagala, vijay annapureddy, kosaraju saradhi,mohan krishna mannava, Garikapati Venkat, Anil boppudi,SS Reddy, Narendar Reddy Yasa, Sai Vuyyuru, Mannam Venkata Ramana, Ravi Potluri, Vijay Bandla, Narla Chandrasekhar, Ravi Musunuru etc attended the event.
The musical performance by Eeswar drew huge response from the crowd.
Around 500 Telugu Community members attended this event and made it a grand success. People came from different places; few people drove 200 miles for this event. Jithendra Atluri & Ramana Ganne coordinated the event.
Program finished with Indian National anthem "Janaganamana" song.
The event was a grand success due to contributions from several volunteers who deserve an applause and recognition.
