Two disciples are quarrelling in an ashram. One says that Advaitha (religion that believes God and Humansoul are one and the same) is great. The other says that Dwaitha (both God and Human Soul are different and the latter should struggle to reach the former).
The tug is going on. The guy who is arguing that Advaitha is the greatest, wrote the word (Soham= means He is Me, He means God). Then Dwaitha guy stood and wrote the letter 'Da' before soham. That became 'Dasoham', means human should surrender to God. The again Adwaitham guy added 'Sa' before that. That turned 'Sada Soham', means 'Always Soham'. Then the other guy added 'Da'. That became 'Dasa Dasoham'. In that way the word is extending as 'Sada Sada Soham'…'Dasa Dasa Dasoham…'
They spent almost a day and understood that arguing is unending and answer is also pending. They decided to follow one religion that brings conviction to self instead of arguing about who is great.
