Firebrand Congress MP from Malkajgiri and newly-appointed president of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee A Revanth Reddy is getting ready to assume charge at Gandhi Bhavan on July 7.
All arrangements are being made to make the event a grand ceremony with Revanth coming to Gandhi Bhavan in a procession after paying homage to the Telangana martyrs.
Along with Revanth, other office bearers also will take charge on the same day.
Interestingly, decades-old Gandhi Bhavan is witnessing major changes to suit the interests of Revanth Reddy.
Party sources said Revanth is not happy with the Vasthu of the building, which he feels is responsible for the sorry state of affairs of the party in Telangana.
He suggested some changes be made in the PCC president’s chamber as per the Vasthu needs.
A separate door is being constructed on the east-side of the Gandhi Bhavan to enable Revanth to directly enter his chamber which is also being relocated to face east direction.
The seating arrangement in the PCC chief chambers is also undergoing changes.
He also ordered demolition of security room and also the room where party flags and banners are sold, so that the entry into Gandhi Bhavan is made more spacious.
All the changes are being made at a fast pace so that it would be ready before Revanth taking charge as the PCC president on July 7.
It remains to be seen whether these changes in Vasthu would bring any luck to the Congress party in general and Revanth Reddy in particular.
