Tirupati by-poll: Pawan At The Mercy Of BJP Bosses

Jana Sena Party chief and power star Pawan Kalyan has dropped out from contest in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections and extended support to the Bharatiya Janata Party following a lot of negotiations.

But the BJP leadership is not willing to reciprocate his “sacrifice” in the GHMC elections, for the sake of alliance.

Apparently, Pawan has asked the BJP to leave the contest in by-elections to Tirupati parliamentary constituency to Jana Sena and support its candidate.

However, the BJP leaders reportedly told the Jana Sena chief that the decision was in the party high command in New Delhi.

Having no option, Pawan flew down to New Delhi on Monday and had been waiting for an appointment with party president J P Nadda and other seniors for the last two days.

According to reports from New Delhi, Pawan has not got any response from the BJP bosses till 8 pm on Tuesday.

He did not get a call from either Nadda or Union home minister Amit Shah, who is wielding a lot of power in the party.

Apparently, Jana Sena chief is terribly disappointed with the attitude of the BJP leadership.

“It is learnt the BJP leadership is not interested in sacrificing Tirupati seat for Jana Sena, as the BJP feels it can win the seat easily. It will be a setback for Pawan,” sources said.
