Firebrand MLA T Raja Singh, who resigned from the Bharatiya Janata Party a couple of months ago, continues to target the Telangana BJP leaders, particularly Union coal minister G Kishan Reddy, questioning his political credibility ahead of the Jubilee Hills assembly by-election.
In a sharply worded post on social media, Raja Singh addressed the minister directly: “Kishan Reddy ji, how many votes will you lose by in Jubilee Hills? People are asking whether you plan to help the BRS win or the Congress.”
He pointed out that Jubilee Hills falls under the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency — Kishan Reddy’s own turf. “Your reputation is at stake,” Singh said.
He further taunted, “If you lose badly, how will you face central leaders again? Many in your constituency are still waiting for your help. You ruined my district and got me expelled. Your turn will come too.”
The remarks have reignited tensions in the BJP, which is struggling to find a suitable candidate to contest the by-election to Jubilee Hills seat.
“Apparently, Raja Singh is trying to demoralise the BJP state leadership ahead of the by-polls,” an analyst said.
Central leaders are said to be monitoring the situation closely, though no disciplinary action has yet been announced.
