The Green India Challenge, launched by Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar, an initiative to plant saplings to make India green, garnered enormous response people from all the walks of life.
Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi appreciated Santosh Kumar for the noble initiative.
“It is the individual and collective responsibility of every citizen to leave behind a green footprint for posterity. Endeavours like ‘Green India Challenge’ can succeed only through people’s participation,” opined PM.
Modi felt that Vruksha Vedam book would educate people, especially youth to understand the holistic affiliation between nature and mankind.
Santosh Kumar thanked PM Modi for his support and acknowledgement to Green India Challenge program and Vruksha Vedam book.
