KTR Threatened Film Actresses Through Phone Tapping

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao was accused by Minister Konda Surekha on Monday of involvement in phone tapping and intimidation of film actresses.

These allegations add to the growing reports against BRS leadership regarding mass phone-tapping operations before the Assembly elections.

According to confessions from accused police officers involved in phone tapping, they had monitored the phones of top Tollywood personalities, shared the information, and even extorted some of them.

For example, police monitored the phones of a Tollywood couple experiencing marital discord and spread the news.

Surekha stated that Rama Rao and his father, former chief minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, would soon be arrested for their involvement in the scam, similar to his sister Kavitha's imprisonment in the liquor scam.

She made these remarks while addressing the media at the Congress office in Warangal city on Monday.

She also criticized the Chandrashekar Rao government for purchasing expensive power, leading the state into debt.

During the BRS government's tenure, farmers committed suicide, but Chandrashekar Rao did not assist their families. Now, he is staging a drama of meeting farmers.

Surekha highlighted the damage to the Kaleshwaram project during the BRS's rule. An expert team confirmed that the project suffered due to faulty designs provided by Chandrashekar Rao.

She remarked that people were growing disenchanted with Rama Rao due to his language against Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

She warned that if KCR and KTR do not change their language and behavior, the people would teach them a lesson.
