KCR sounding insecure in his speeches?

Has Bharat Rashtra Samithi president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao sensed the signals of his party losing the upcoming assembly elections to the state assembly on November 30?

Analysts say “yes” to this question, as they feel KCR is sounding insecure in his speeches during the election rallies at various places.

On Thursday, it was clearly evident from his comments at the Achampet public meeting.

He made repeated appeals to the people not to take wrong decisions and push the state into the darkness that was witnessed during the previous Congress regimes.

“If you defeat the BRS in the coming elections, I have nothing to lose. I will go home and happily take rest for the next five years. But you are going to suffer. And it is my responsibility to caution you that if you defeat the BRS which fought for Telangana and brought Telangana, you are going to go back to the dark ages,” he said.

Stating that the Congress and the BJP leaders would approach them with tall promises during the elections, KCR said: “If you start believing their words, the situation would come back to square one and Telangana would go to dogs. I cannot do anything then and fight for you. It is for you to do the fighting,” he said.

He said he had done his best for bringing the Telangana on the path of progress, and it was now the turn of the people to do their bit to ensure continuity of the progress and development.

“Compare the last nine and a half years of our government with the previous Congress governments, before exercising your franchise,” he said.

Analysts say in the past, KCR used to sound confident in his speeches and he was never talking about the possibility of his party’s defeat.

“But at the today’s rallies, he was cautioning the people about the possibility of the Congress coming to power. This is surprising and strange,” an analyst said.
