Hyd Man Makes 1,265 Kg Laddu For Ram Mandir

A man named Nagabhushan Reddy from Hyderabad has crafted a 1,265 Kg laddu intended as an offering for the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

The laddu, prepared by around 30 people working continuously for 24 hours, will be transported to Ayodhya from Hyderabad in a refrigerated glass box on January 17.

Nagabhushan Reddy, the creator of the laddu, shared, "I own a catering service called Shree Ram Catering since 2000. When the Bhoomi Pooja of the Ram Janmabhoomi temple was happening, we thought to ourselves about what offering can be given to Sri Ram. Later, we came up with the idea that from the day of the Bhoomi Pooja to the day of the temple opening, each day we'll give 1 Kg laddu."

"That's how we have prepared this 1,265 Kg laddu for the Mandir. We are taking this laddu as a Yatra from Hyderabad to Ayodhya in a refrigerated box. We are starting the journey from Hyderabad on January 17 and traveling by road. Around 30 people worked continuously for 24 hours to prepare this laddu. It took us 4 hours to just assemble the laddu here," he added.

The sweet master, Dushasan, expressed his joy, saying, "I feel very happy. This is the first time that I have such a huge work. We have done this with much hard work. We have made this laddu in such a way that it won't get damaged during travel."

Additionally, on Wednesday, the idol of Lord Ram Lalla will tour the premises of the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple as part of the week-long Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya.

The ceremony includes various rituals, such as Jalayatra, Teertha Puja, Brahmin-Batuk-Kumari-Suvasini Puja, Vardhini Puja, Kalshayatra, and a tour of the idol of Lord Shri Ram Lalla in the Prasad premises.

On Tuesday, Panchgavyaprashan, involving the use of Panchgavya (milk, urine, dung, ghee, and curd), was performed at the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Godan (cow donation) and Karmakuti Homa were also part of the ceremony, concluding with grandeur.

The Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will open for general public 'darshan' from January 23. Preparations for the event are underway to accommodate thousands of dignitaries and people from various sections of society.
