Ever since Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader and MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha told reporters on Friday night that her father and party president K Chandrasekhar Rao was a god but was surrounded by devils, speculations are going on as to who these devils are.
On Saturday, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) media wing chairman Sama Ram Mohan Reddy made said these devils were none other than former MP Joginapally Santosh, KCR’s son K T Rama Rao and nephew T Harish Rao.
Ram Mohan Reddy claimed he was aware of Kavitha’s letter to her father 10 days ago. There is already a plan to suspend Kavitha from the BRS, and that it would happen soon.
He also hinted that Santosh may be declared the next BRS president. “When Kavitha wanted to talk to KCR, Santosh blocked her.
Now, it is Santosh who decides whom KCR should meet or talk to. There are even claims that Santosh collects money from MLAs for arranging meetings with KCR.
Reddy compared KCR’s current condition to Jayalalitha’s late-career political isolation, stating that if disciplinary action is taken against Kavitha, she might launch her own political party.
“KTR is not even trying to resolve the issue by talking to Kavitha. It’s KCR’s own people who are betraying him. He seems helpless even as his own family is breaking apart,” the TPCC spokesman siad.
He reminded everyone that KCR had previously taken strict action against party members who spoke about internal matters in public, and it remains to be seen whether he would do the same in Kavitha’s case.
He demanded that KTR respond to the discrimination happening within the BRS, especially since he speaks frequently about democracy. He advised KTR to focus on his own party instead of lecturing the Congress.
