Naidu 'licked' armpits of Modi, says KCR

Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said at the election meeting in Nalgonda on Thursday that the distribution of Bathukamma saris would begin the very next day the election code is lifted.

The EC had stayed the sari distribution as the Congress approached it citing poll code.

KCR, however, said the legal hurdles to the distribution of Rythu Bandhu cheques have been cleared and assured farmers that they would get their cheques ahead of the Rabi season.

KCR said the Congress-TDP alliance was dangerous for the state.

“What will happen to the interests of Telangana and the projects if the TDP were to win 15 seats? Will Naidu allow our projects?” he asked.

“You cannot trust Chandrababu. He is a backstabber,” KCR charged. The chief minister said while other political parties consider politics a game, the TRS considered it as a mission.

“Naidu said in Vijayawada that he had made an offer to me to join hands with him to be one as “Telugu people” to take on Narendra Modi. “This is disgraceful. It is in the name of Telugu sentiment that we were deceived all these years. And it is Naidu himself who sailed with Modi for four years,” he said.

KCR tried to compare himself with Lord Shiva, warning Chandrababu Naidu that he would open the ‘third eye’.

Referring to Lord Shiva reducing evil forces to ashes by opening his third eye, Mr Rao said, “If I open my third eye, you should think what your fate would be. Once you tried to take chances with Telangana through cash for vote. The result was that people threw you out of Hyderabad and you fell in Vijayawada.”

He said Mr Naidu “licked the armpits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for four years.”

Mr Rao urged the people of the state to reject the “unholy and shameless alliance” between the TD and the Congress which is aimed at making Telangana a ‘ghulam’ again before Andhra and Delhi rulers and defeat the very purpose for which Telangana state was achieved.
