Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and later addressed the media in New Delhi. So the inevitable question was about his true intentions behind meeting Modi frequently.
To that, Jagan countered the scribes saying that when TDP head Chandra Babu and Union Minister Sujana Choudhary met Chidambaram in a hush hush meet, no one had questioned them. So why was media intrigued if he was trying to maintain good relations with Modi, asked Jagan.
YSRCP president also pointed out that there was nothing new or out of place about leaders meeting and exchanging pleasantries and discussing issues. However, he added that this meeting was to discuss important issues regarding the state of Andhra Pradesh. Jagan said he had also requested the PM to continue the levy rice scheme.
