What do we call Naidu: Rashtra Drohi or Desh Drohi?

Continuing the tirade against Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and his supporting media houses, YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy said they were supporting the criminals, corrupt leaders, liars and looters.

Addressing a public meeting at Marumalla village of Konaseema district after launching the Matsyakara Bharosa programme, Jagan described the TDP president and the media supporting him – Eenadu, Andhra Jyothy and TV5, as “Dushta Chatushtayam” (wicked gang of four).

He asked the people whether they had seen an opposition leader and the media supporting him who are defending a criminal involved in question paper leakage.

“Have you seen such a person or the media, who opposed the questioning of a former minister who made money in ESI scam?” he asked.

Jagan said normally parents teach their children not to lie and cheat people. But Naidu had been giving training to his son in uttering lies and resorting to cheating.

“Have you seen such a father anywhere?” he asked.

The chief minister said the so-called senior most politician and a 40-year-old industry Chandrababu Naidu was banking on two people – his son who lost Mangalagiri seat despite being a minister and another adopted son, who could not win both the seats he had contested.

He alleged that Naidu had moved the court to stall the allotment of house sites to the weaker sections and houses for the poor in Amaravati, which is claimed to be the state capital on the pretext that it would cause demographic imbalance.

The TDP chief also opposed introduction of English medium in the government schools.

“What shall we call such a person? Shall we call him Rashtra Drohi or Desha Drohi? Neither his son nor his adopted son had guts to claim that the previous TDP regime had done so much good for the people. Only our government has the moral right to claim that we have implemented 95 per cent of the poll promises,” Jagan asserted.
