Rallies, demos in support of Jagan's deeksha across US cities

A large number of non- resident Telugu people in USA had extended their support and solidarity to YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is on indefinite fast seeking special status to Andhra Pradesh.

Peace rallies and demonstrations were held across various cities in USA in response to a call by YSRCP – USA wing to express their support to YS Jagan’s deeksha.

The peace marches and demonstrations held in the cities of Washington DC, Dallas and Texas during October 10 and 11 had witnessed a huge turnout of enthusiastic people holding placards and banners, raising slogans in support of YS Jagan’s deeksha and demanding special status to Andhra Pradesh.

Peace march was held at Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC on October 10. The march was held under the coordination of Surendra Batinapatla (YSRCP USA - Central Regional Coordinator), Ramesh Valluru (YSRCP USA - Advisor & Mid Atlantic Regional Coordinator) and Rathnakar Pandugayala (YSRCP USA - Co-Convenor).

Rallies in Dallas, Texas
The Dallas rally was held in Thomas Jefferson Park (Near Gandhi Memorial), Irving, Texas on October 11. YSRCP South Regional Core committee members and YSRCP USA Executive Committee Members based in Dallas Area had actively participated in the march.

A large number of people joined the rally and day long demonstrations extending their support to Y.S. Jagan’s deeksha seeking special status to AP. Notable among the participants are Telugu students studying in various universities in this area.  

Apart from them core committee members of YSRCP from the neighboring states too joined the rally making it a grand success. YSRCP USA - Co-convenor Gurava Reddy Punyala announced his support to the event.
