KVP, Vundavalli upset with Jagan's decision?

The decision of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy to support Bharatiya Janata Party for the reasons known only to him might distance him from some seniors, whose support he has been seeking during the elections.

According to sources, senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha member K V P Ramachandra Rao and former Rajahmundry MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar are terribly upset with Jagan’s decision to sail with the BJP.

Though both of them have been indirectly supporting Jagan by advising him on political strategies, they did not get any hint from him on his decision to support the BJP candidate in Presidential elections. So, they were taken by surprise when Jagan met Prime Minister Narendra Modi the other day.

In fact, KVP was said to be trying to bring all the rank and file of the Congress party into the YSRC fold so as to strengthen it before 2019 elections.

He has the connections with all top leaders across the country and also has the ability to mobilise financial resources for Jagan, who is facing difficulties in securing funds because of the CBI cases against him.

So is the case with Vundavalli who has been giving intellectual inputs to Jagan to fight against Naidu.

So, it is nothing but natural that they were hurt with Jagan’s decision. May be, they would start keeping away from Jagan hereafter.

“It is apparent that Jagan is surrounded by a coterie of people who are misleading him. He has to be wary of them,” a source close to KVP said.
