KCR plans 'prajala vaddaku palana'!

KCR plans 'prajala vaddaku palana'!

It is nearing almost three years since Telangana state was formed and Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhar Rao came into power.

During this period, KCR had hardly gone into people, except addressing an occasional public meetings for inauguration of one scheme or the other.

The administration is mostly confined to Hyderabad and the officials or ministers hardly reached out to people.

And with just two years left for the next elections, KCR is learnt to have decided to take the administration to the people, on the lines of “prajala vaddaku palana” programme introduced by TDP founder president N T Rama Rao in 1995.

He wants the entire administration to be available to the people at the grass root level and take up micro level schemes that would benefit the locals.

And KCR himself is learnt to have decided to go into the people extensively by organising road shows to create an impression that he is a people’s man.

Hitherto, he was only seen conducting meetings in his camp office and had never interacted with the people directly.

He already has a specially—designed bus with all hi-tech facilities in which he would tour the villages and address meetings on the road side, explaining his government’s achievements. He would address gram sabhas to know the local issues and solve them instantly.

He is proposing to stay in few identified villages for a night to learn about the impact of government schemes.

The collectors have already been instructed to make arrangements to lay foundation stones for the construction of integrated administration complexes in new districts during the Chief Minister’s visit.

With his road shows and village-level meetings, KCR wants to eliminate whatever anti-establishment sentiment that is prevailing in the state.
