Subramanya Swamy who filed the case against ex chief minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha in Karnataka High Court has said that the Court denying bail to Jayalalitha did not come as a surprise to him.
He had anticipated that the High Court would refuse to grant a bail to Jayalalitha said Swamy.
However, he did say he was surprised by the announcement made by public prosecutor Bhavani Singh that she might be granted conditional bail.
That would dilute the case fears Swamy. He felt happy that the High Court judge took the right decision.
