India is poised to strengthen its tech industry, with Dixon Technologies set to manufacture Google Pixel devices at its Noida facility, following Apple’s lead in local production. This move is expected to boost India’s position in the global smartphone market.

On the infrastructure front, India will see two new international airports in Mumbai and Delhi by 2025, enhancing its connectivity. However, Tamil Nadu’s plan to develop Hosur airport faces a setback due to regulatory hurdles. A 150-km restriction around Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) prohibits any new airports until May 2033, delaying the Hosur project.

Meanwhile, India’s urban landscape is growing rapidly, with Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune ranked among the top 15 fastest-growing global urban centers by 2033, according to the Savills Growth Hubs Index.

In education, IIT Bombay has set a minimum salary standard of Rs 6 lakh for placements, reflecting the institute’s commitment to attracting top talent.
