YSRC New Poll Slogan: 'Ravali Jagan'

Though elections to the Andhra Pradesh state assembly are still eight months away, the YSR Congress party has decided to launch an extensive campaign against the Chandrababu Naidu government in a big way, while projecting party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy as an effective alternative.

The Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), which is working out campaign strategies of the YSRC, has come out with an action plan to step up the party campaign in the coming days.

It includes counter-attacking Naidu’s failures and exposing his non-implementation of his election promises like special category status to AP, farm loan waiver, DWCRA loan waiver, one job per every household, housing to Poor, women safety in AP etc.

Besides, the team wants to sustain on-ground buzz created through Jagan’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra of Jagan and increase party’s ground level reach in all the assembly constituencies.

Primarily, the IPAC has coined a slogan “Ravaali Jagan” (Jagan has to come to power) for the party for the next elections.

It was discussed during an extensive party meeting in Vishakhapatnam on Tuesday, which was attended by the seniormost leaders, Parliamentary constituency presidents and assembly coordinators.

The campaign entails a 30-day long public outreach program carried by assembly constituency coordinators to visit at least 50 booths in the constituency and to interact with the public and strengthen booth committees in the village.

The campaign aims to increase YSRCP’s grass roots level reach in all the assembly constituencies and to sustain the on ground buzz created through Prajasankalpa Yatra.

The 'Ravali Jagan' campaign aims at direct outreach of 15 lakh people in 30 days all over the state through public meetings and door to door events in villages by assembly coordinators.

People can give a missed call to 91210 91210 expressing their support to Jagan, the party leaders said.
