The yellow media is trying its best to erase the incident of Muni Koti’s suicide from the minds of the public.
The incident has the potential of triggering large-scale protests and violence across the State against the TDP and BJP.
Therefore in a bid to protect their community government, a sort of gag order has been issued as far as the reporting of the Muni Koti suicide goes. There is no dearth of media-channels in the state. But the majority of them owe allegiance to the TDP.
Sakshi of course is owned by YS Jagan and is therefore naturally pro-YSRCP. But when supreme sacrifices like the one made by Muni Koti also becomes a tool in political games, then who cares whether these media channels exist or not?
They are no better than the Indians who sided with the British during our struggle for Independence.
Had a similar incident like this happened in Tamil Nadu or elsewhere, what would have been the reaction?
