KCR’s son K Taraka Ram Rao says that he is okay with serving as a minister if given a chance or taking up the responsibility of the TRS party. Though he is not keen on any particular post, he said he will do full justice if given a chance.
Caste equations and other factors play a role while the ministerial candidates are decided.
In the past, one or two ministerial posts were allocated to the Velama community. However, given the new situation, the CM will be from the Velama community.
Despite that, KCR will surely accommodate two to three leaders from the Velama community.
One name that tops the list is that of Harish Rao. Apart from being a senior member of TRS, he had also served as a minister in the past.
Similarly, Jupalle Krishna Rao gave up his minister’s post and joined TRS after jumping from the Congress party. He will surely be expecting a place in the newly formed cabinet.
KCR will also have to accommodate the sole TRS MLA from Khammam, Jalagam Venkata Rao.
It is being hotly debated if KCR can please all of them and still accommodate his son KTR. In fact, KTR is an able leader. If KCR decides to make him a minister, then he should do so in the initial phase. Later, it might be difficult to make place for KTR.
