Unfazed by the fact that his brother Chiranjeevi backstabbed 70 lakh voters and merged his Party with the Congress, Pawan Kalyan is boldly going ahead with his plans for a new Party.
Even though similar allegations might be raised against his ‘ Jana Sena’, Pawan is going ahead with full confidence. Even though Pawan’s new Party will split the votes of fans and his community, it is this very stubbornness on his part which again appeals to a certain section of the public.
It would be interesting to compare this situation with that of NTR Jr. Junior is not being given due recognition and respect in the TDP. All his supporters are being denied tickets and slowly being booted out of the TDP.
His father Harikrishna no longer finds favor with Chandrababu. Is there any hope of Junior being given a prominent role at least in the future?
It is highly doubtful as Nara Lokesh is being groomed as a successor to Chandrababu and Junior is seen as a threat to the ascendancy of Lokesh.
But Junior is still living a life of compromise in the TDP for the reason that if he were to try and stage a rebellion now, he is unsure of the kind of support he would get both from the TDP and his fans.
This is where the difference lies between him and Pawan! Pawan without considering anything is just following his heart.
Hard core fans of Junior now want him to take a leaf out of Pawan’s book and create a separate identity for himself? Will Junior rise to the challenge?
