Vivek Being Hounded Out Of TRS?

Vivek Being Hounded Out Of TRS?

It looks like days are numbered for former Peddapalli MP and advisor to Telangana government on inter-state affairs Gaddam Vivekanand in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

According to sources, Viveka is being compelled to quit the TRS on the lines of veteran leader and Rajya Sabha member D Srinivas, who has virtually been hounded out of the TRS.

Though DS is technically still in the TRS, he is as good as expelled as the party has completely sidelined him after his son D Aravind joined the Bharatiya Janata Party.

DS, too, has unofficially returned to his parent party Congress, which itself is in a bad shape.

Sources said the TRS leadership is angry with Vivek for not able to convince his elder brother G Vinod from contesting the assembly elections from Bellampalli as a rebel on BSP ticket.

Though Vinod lost the elections to TRS candidate Durgam Chinnaiah, his rebellion was not tolerated by the TRS leadership.

Apparently, the party has received complaints from several TRS legislators including Chennur MLA Balka Suman, Chinnaiah and Dharmapuri MLA Koppula Eshwar that Vivek and Vinod had extended financial help to their rivals to defeat the TRS.

Though Vivek met TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao and working president K T Rama Rao and gave his version, they did not believe him.

Now, the talk is Vivek might not get the TRS ticket for Peddapalli Lok Sabha constituency as promised earlier.

The party is said to be looking for an alternative candidate and Suman is actively campaigning against Vivek.

If the talk is true, then it will be the end of road for Vivek in the TRS and he has no alternative but to return to the Congress once again!
