Despite emerging as the single largest party in Telangana, its head KCR definitely ranks at the top of the most unpredictable politicians.
In 2004, ahead of the general elections, KCR called on LK Advani with the intention of an alliance. The alliance did not materialize. Later, KCR declared that he would merge his Party with the Congress if Telangana was granted Statehood.
After, the State was formed he left for Delhi along with his entire family and thanked Sonia Gandhi in person. However, he backtracked on his promise to merge the TRS with Congress.
After becoming the CM, he took on the BJP in a bid to become close to the MIM by calling Modi a fascist.
Now, he has once again changed tune by approaching Modi with the offer of an alliance. The reason: Kavitha wants to become a Union Minister at any cost.
However, the BJP is not too enamored of KCR and it is believed that KCR is now back to mending fences with MIM in view of the upcoming GHMC elections.
