We have seen in the past, how Trivikram Srinivas in trying to strike a balance between entertainment and drama in serious films like Khaleja and Agynaathavasi failed and this affected the performance of both films.
The storyline of those films was serious and unfortunately, good plots were tempered by the entertainment factor.
But for Aravinda Sametha, Trivikram stuck strictly to to the plot line. There were no unnecessary entertainment scenes or songs. While fans of Trivikram brand of humour may be disappointed, by and large, the film is being welcomed by the masses.
In this aspect, Trivikram has done something similar to Koratala Siva whose films are not high on the entertainment quotient but stick strictly to the theme.
