T-TDP Leaders Lack Guts

Industries Minister Jupally Krishna Rao today lashed out at Telugu Desam Party leaders from Telangana region for lacking guts to talk on development of irrigation projects during TDP regime.

For second time, he waited in Assembly Committee Hall from 10.30 am to 12 noon and expressed discontent at TD leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy for failing to turn up.

Losing his cool, the minister angrily said the TD leader do not have guts to talk openly in the presence of the media on what the TD regime did for Palamur irrigation projects.

Though Chandrababu Naidu government allotted Rs 7,800 crore, it could not spend even Rs 10 crore on pending irrigation projects in Mahbubnagar district, he alleged.

Reiterating his stance on the challenge made for an open debate, the minister ridiculed the TD leader for escaping again.

Reddy is showing lame duck only to skip the meet at Assembly, he said, adding that he would pay the rent for a function hall of Reddy’s choice to debate on the issue, an irate Krishna Rao asserted.

The media persons will act as judges to the debate which can be conducted at a place preferred by the TD leader, he said.

Rao also said he was ready to prove that Naidu has written a letter to Central Water Commission and the Centre against Palamur irrigation projects.

He asked the TD leader whether he can convince his boss Naidu to write another missive to CWC and Centre in favor of the irrigation projects in the district.
