T Govt Takes Back 16 Acres From APFDC

The Telangana government has decided to reclaim the 16 acres land which had been allotted to the AP Film Development Corporation in the past.

The government has issued orders to this affect.

Presently, there is 16.4 acres of prime land under APFDC which is ‘not being used’ which falls under Survey No 74 on Road No 76, Jubilee Hills.

Despite repeated notices from erstwhile united Andhra Pradesh government to use the land, no action has been taken till now.

So, the Telangana government has withdrawn the orders which allotted the land to the body through GO 226.

A few days back, KCR had hinted that various people were holding large tracts of prime land illegally.

He now feels that such land can be put to use for various developmental activities. The fact that the reclaimed land would be worth several crores does not need special mention.
